Plugging a leaking tire is not that difficult as you can see from the video below. While the video shows all the necessary steps, there are 2 things I feel you don’t need to do. The first is the part about chewing the tire plug! Nope you don’t have to do that and won’t want to do that.
The reason why you won’t want to do so is newer tire plug have self? vulcanizing plugs that don’t require glue. These plugs are sticky on you hand and if you still want to put them in your mouth, it is your call. Other than that, the video is all good.
