So you think you can drive like James Bond (Daniel Craig) or Nicholas Cage? Or perhaps movies like Fast and Furious made you more enthusiastic in your driving perhaps. Well, all those are in the movies. Just in case you didn’t know, in the recent Quantum of Solace, multiple Aston Martins were used. Most were hacked to enable them to spin, jump and do whatever else needed in the film.
Recently, on the stunt set of Nicholas Cage’s movie “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, the car chase went wrong with Nicholas’s stunt driver crashing his Ferrari into a store, causing minor injuries to 2 pedestrians in Times Square. So when they say, “Don’t try this at home” they really mean it.
Check out the video below on amateur video. You’ll see the Ferrari not really going that fast but perhaps due to wet, slippery road or the driver over gas the pedal, the car over steered straight unto the sidewalk into a store.
