You would think that fuel economy depends on What car you drive? But a fairly large factor also depends on How you drive. Check out this video between a Toyota Prius (hybrid) vs a BMW M3. The M3 has a 4 liter V8 in case you think they stuff a smaller engine inside.
For once TopGear did not bash a hybrid car. Final point: Driven at top speed continuously, a hybrid will lose out in fuel consumption due to the fact of having a small engine dragging heavy batteries around!
