There was a time I thought of hacking my own Nissan and making it a mobile office. Like all great ideas, it did not come from me. I got inspired when I came across this magazine where someone installed a laptop, a printer, fax machine, scanner, internet access, video conferencing, etc and perhaps Nissan got the same idea too. Instead of a small sedan, Nissan decided to host the mobile office in a van.

Designated the Nissan NV 200, from the front, at first glance, it sure look a lot like something out of the A-Team tv series. I half expected Mr. T to come out with gold chains, brandishing his automatic rifles.

I do like the interior. Sure feels like Captain Kirk of the starship Enterprise getting ready to hit Warp 8, Mr. Sulu, where are you? Hey, I’m begging to get the feeling that Nissan designers locked themselves for a week to watch all the old movies and then came out with this car?

It’s not half bad, but the drawer like contraption? I dunno. Would be great as a mobile barbeque banquet.

My missus also thought this is a cool car, not withstanding the fact it is just a glorified van. Let’s see what is going to power it, if it ever hits production.
