Still don’t believe me when I say tires make a difference (often a big factor) to your fuel economy? Here is data to prove my point. I got this from Green Seal report. Although a bit old by now, the points are still applicable.

By the way, the lower the RRC figure, the better.

Green Seal have probably updated their website to include newer tires by now. What it does show is that the tires over time, will pay for itself. The higher the cost of fuel, that more savings your will enjoy.

And I don’t think the cost of gas will ever go down back to the levels in the past.
